I Quit My Job
After a long 8 years working as a Software Developer, I finally decided to take the leap. I always wanted to go the extra mile and build something I could truly call my own. Working on someone else’s product never gave me the same adrenaline rush.
But I couldn’t just quit without a plan—or what some might call a financial foundation.
The Plan A
I saved up money to cover my bills for five months. Then I decided it was time to start working on something of my own. I looked at my list of ideas for products. I crossed out the ones that were too big for just me. In the end, I had one idea left. I called it DealAmigo.
The Plan B
I knew that not all plans go as expected, so I prepared a backup. If I couldn’t build enough momentum within five months, I’d either return to a job or start freelancing. I just wanted to be ready for anything. Hopefully, I won’t need to fall back on Plan B and pray that I dont need to think of a Plan C ! 😅
My Final Thoughts
If someone is reading this and is thinking about quitting their job to start their own business, I hope this gives you a little more courage to take the leap.
